To pool or not to pool...

As of Friday (Feb 21st) we have a concrete pool!  The team that sprayed in the concrete (gunite) was extremely happy!  I could tell because they kept making fun of each other, laughing, singing, and telling jokes.    Once they were finished, I just had to go outside and look at the pool!  Is it really a pool?  I mean, it looks like a pool, but, when you fill it with water the water turns lime green!  We have to "water" our pool twice a day in order for the concrete to dry properly.  So each time we "water" our pool, the run off water turns lime green.  I tried to find some turtles to put in the water (to make mutant ninja turtles of course!), but there were none to be found...

Pro-hole

Today marks the official ground breaking of our pool!  Apparently, the guys who maneuver and drive the tractor used to dig out our pool are quite skilled.  We have an approximately 7' wide tractor going 20+ mhp around our back yard and front yard hauling tons of dirt!  No joke... this guy is flying!

They filled up 6-7 trucks worth of dirt!  And now our yard is a giant muddy mess... which means we also have a lot of mud, sand, dirt in our lovely new house :(
