Today was day 2 of the tour guide. The first step was the Atashkadeh (Zoroastrian Fure Temple). The fire located here has been burning since 470 A.D.

Our next stop was an ancient Ab Anbar with four badghir.
We wondered around the old city and visited quite a list of places: an ancient hotel (for back when they used camels to caravan with spices, silk, rugs, etc), the traditional Muharram gathering place, the water museum (history of water and invention of qanats), an old mansion, the bazaar, another old mansion, the coin museum, Masjid Jummah, and the clock tower. By the end of the day we were exhausted!

You may think this is a funny picture, but look closely between the bag and the bikes... That's right, I am a secret Mullah photographer. |

My last day in Yazd! :( We started off the day with lunch at our sweet Aunt's house with lots and lots of laughs!

Can you tell, they like to have fun? He's not kachal! |
At night Baba took us to two more mansion that have been converted into fancy hotels. Yet again, once we mentioned I was visiting from America, we were offered a private tour! Being America definitely has a LOT of advantages!
