And just like that, he woke up TWO

On a rainy afternoon two years ago, my baby boy entered this world and on this rainy day my big boy turned two!  Where does the time go?  Surely, the saying is true, "The days are long, but the years are short," any stay-at-home mom can attest to this.  It seems that my son has grown up over night!  A few days ago he could only string together two word sentences, and here he is, walking around calling in his sweet little voice, "Car, where are you?".  A few weeks ago, he would only play in a room if we were near, and today, he is on his hands and knees in his game room pushing his tractors around the Paw Patrol track.  Half a year a`go, my baby boy wanted to be rocked in my arms till he fell asleep, and here is my big boy laying down in his bed with his pillow and blanket, sleeping on his own.  A year ago my baby boy was just learning to walk, and today this toddler is running all around the house (including the furniture and other places he's not allowed), and jumping off of every elevated surface that he can climb.  I cherish you my boy.  I carry your heart, I carry your heart in my heart; I am never without it, anywhere I go you go, my dear.
