First Day of Pre-School!

My big boy is at school as I type, and Oh My Heart!  I think about him 20 times each second!  He was so ready to go.  As we walked up to his classroom (the entire family, wearing matching outfits, with the camera steadily flashing) he was fussing because he wanted to go into the room, while Momma was fussing, because she wanted a few more squeezes before she let go of her baby!  I timed the drive, and it will take me just 7 minutes to get to his Pre-School from home, but I'm already preparing for my departure to pick him up (even though he doesn't get out of class for another 2 hours).  I miss my baby, but I know he's having fun.  He loves people, loves playing with other kids, and is a great explorer of new places,  Still, I have my ringer volume turned all the way up and my phone is sitting right next to me, just in case...

Just as I suspected, Naveed had a great day!  He cried a little when he realized we left, but they offered him a cookie and the little stinker cheered right up!  Poor boy decided not to eat lunch while he was at school though.  He was too busy playing with all the new toys!  As soon as his teacher said, "Naveed, look who's here!" (I was only 10 mins early...), Naveed looked up with his construction hat on, yelled Mama!, smiled his biggest smile, then took his hat off and ran to open the door.  I think he may have missed me a smidgen.  I am positive he did a lot of playing, because Naveed fell asleep roughly 2 mins into our car ride home and is still sound asleep 1.5hrs later.  Way to go big boy!
